I'm likely going to have the car repainted some time soon, but I thought I'd try to fix the few spots of damage myself for now. Today I'm going to wire brush down the damaged areas and rust, then prime. I picked up a small spray can of color matched stuff for $8 and figured I'd give it a shot.

My grandfather was Scottish. I've never been there though.

So was my grandma. I'm a descendant of the Morrison clan.

My fiance is from Glasgow, Scotland. So we have a lot of family and friends over there. We are probably going for a visit next year.

Strategically placed racing stripes and no need to color match, LOL

Just did a really amateur couple of spot repairs on the BIG spots. The worst was the one on the roof, and then the one on the hood. A couple on the rear trunk.
Used my auto store quick match stuff to some (very moderate) success. A few drips and lots of dust and grit since it was in my driveway. A little bit of sanding but it still looks meh at best. But at least it isn't peeling and rusty. Will get it a decent paint job soon. This was just a quickie bubba job to get me by.

We have a couple highland festivals up here, have not been in a few years, looking for to Grandfather mnt next summer

On the car-
man, what a deal! I'm only in it for $1800 and that's with tax, tag, title, and auction fees! Plus I've done a bunch of maintenance stuff. I love this thing. Its like a four door mustang but without being so presumptuous.
I've been getting offers already!

Got some new tires on her this morning at Pep Boys. $477 out the door for some Falken v-rated all seasons. The immediate improvement in ride and handling were so worth it. I don't ride around on dry rotted tires.
Now she's ready to head out for weekend trips to the beach and stuff!

new tires make an amazing difference in a car!! that thing probably rides like its brand new now! does the air conditioner work too?

Yep, its ICE cold! Everything works- the car runs, drives, and rides like NEW!
Apparently 2004 is THE year to look for, and the SAP package P71 is the most sought-after. I'm officially hooked on this car, and gov't auctions!

Yeah, I don't hesitate if there's a buck to be made. My policy with flipping stuff is only to buy stuff I'd not hate being stuck with. Cop cars and buses fit the bill nicely!
Already got my sights set on another crown vic.

I'll bet you can flip those all day long, though finding good ones is tough as imost were patrols which means the suspensions are shot ... then again make some buck and find that short bus you been lookin for
