My Mary

In reference to the opiods. I got stuck as a chronic pain patient. Decided to use methadone to get off the pills. If im lucky ill be off the methadone by march! Thank gawd im almost normal again! Just be careful🙂

WooHoo! She ate 1/2 a big mac today....That's a big step! She's been very good eating high protein and deserved a treat.

She loves them, don't ask ....

She had an egg and a ground beef patty this morning, lots of fruit juice all day.

:smile::biggrin::rofl::tongue:

Mary's munchin' on a top sirloin right now....yayyyyyy!

Well the next thing predicted is:

She will like to sleep late in the morning
She won't want to wear no shoes
She likes to hug Nurse Don
And continue liven 'Catch a snort from a bottle of booze.

Unashamedly plagiarised from deep in my memory
For youse!

Keep up the good work Don

Ha..Good one RB.

Had a PT person eval. Mary, she needs nothing... Onward.

Eating well.. Onward.

Visited our PCP and after viewing her hosp. records, he was amazed she's still breathing.

Speaking of breathing, her COPD seems to have diminished. Her BP is normal. Her neuropathy is minimal. Her old neck injury hasn't bothered her since this ordeal began.

I've lost 7 lbs.

Sometimes good things come in ugly packaging.

Thanks everyone. Rib eye and rice today after an egg and toast for breakfast. She's rockin'. Even Spooky's happy!

Thanks for your support during this rough time. Mary is well on her way back and soon will be...……………….. "Normal".

Her body has changed for the better, much better appetite and so many little improvements. Her quality of life has improved and will continue to improve. She's been having gut issues for years.

oh happy days Don!! :thumb: What a blessing that Mary, you and Spooky are all coming out of this challenge on a healthier greener side. Big hugs and much light to all of you.
:flowers:

Mary is well enough that we can resume our monthly adventures. This time we're sticking close to home, very close. Watson Lake AZ will be our home for 3 nights later this month. 30 miles away
