N14 in a Genesis/International?

I am looking at an early '90s Genesis FE that the seller claims has a Cummins N14 in it.

Has anyone here ever heard of such a thing? A mechanical 14 liter I6 in a skoolie?

I may need one of those......

If we are talking about the same bus in Arkansas, it actually has a 466, I asked the seller for clarification and photos of the driveline, and initially he replied that it was a N14, but later confirmed that it was in fact a 466. Looks like a decent bus, I am not bidding as I am looking for a RE so good luck!!

Yeah, I got an email from the seller stating that it was an N14. Then I looked at the posting again and he had changed it to DT-466.

Not interested. I am not the biggest fan of FE buses but to get a 14L motor I might make an exception

In my search for a bus I saw a Gillig transit with an M11 but it looked really tired.

A Cummins 855, the forefather of the N14, weighs almost 3000 lbs and is a big lump of metal. Anybody who says there's one of them in a FE bus is completely whacko or just plain ignorant! If he gets something as basic as what engine's in his bus so completely wrong, can you trust him at all for anything else? No matter, people like that are always good for a laugh.

Just drop the bus body on a class 8 frame with the 3406. Might not be able to see over the engine but it would be cool.

That's most likely the easiest way of doing it, eh?
If I had a Class 8 truck I wouldn't mess with school buses as much. Eventually I hope to have a non-commercial street legal big rig for the **** of it. A 3406 or Series 60 would be pretty darn cool.
