Hi all-
We have come into some unexpected health issues in the last few months and will sadly need to take a break from building. We are also in the process of selling our house where we currently store and work on our bus.
We have a 40' International 3000 and she is perfect in every way. We drove her cross country and she did amazing. We have already done an 18" roof raise and had to stop at the metal sheathing step.
We are looking for any of the following options:
-a place to store our bus and leave her there without the ability to work on her
-a place to store her and work on her
-a company/person that will finish our conversion well and not gauge us on price since we've already done most of the heavy lifting
-or a person who is dreaming of a workhorse of a bus that has had all of the demo done, floor converted and painted, roof lifted, some RV windows already purchased, and all of the tools (air tank, air chisel, air rivet gun, rivets, paint sprayer, etc.).. we'd probably want at least 20k since that's what's gone into the conversion so far (so free labor).
She is a DT530 (the DT466's bigger sis, Allison 3000 transmission, air brakes)
A governor at 70 mph, 18 in roof raise, ready to be sheathed, painted, and finished on the inside.
We live in Raleigh, NC and would be willing to drive anywhere near NC to store her or sell her (really don't want this, but have to put it out there as an option).
TIA!
