Need Some Help with Short Bus Wheels

Crawl under the bus with a wire brush and rags and clean the axle tubes,there will be a series of numbers(like a VIN) and this will be the BOM you can then search for the info by th Bill Of Material from the manufacturer

I guess you have a D60 or D70 this will be cast into the housing(center section) either a 60 or 70 easy

I wouldn't buy new rims. Get them on craigslist. Unless you live in the middle of nowhere. Post some pictures of your wheels and wells from side, front and back.

I just looked at pictures of your bus. It's not set up as a dually.

I saw the pic of your front wheel. That's not a dually. You should be able to find an axle code on the vin sticker on the door pillar.

The hub on the rear of a "full floater" will be same distance from the wheel mounting surface.
On the front is where you see a difference where "hub" attatches to the spindle to the wheel mounting surface, alonger space allows the front wheel to be "backwards" or the same as the inner. Wheel on rear axle of drw...thus one spare all the same wheels.
Like crazy said,if you stuck a stock drw wheel on the rear it wouldn't line up with the flare,it would be way in or way out past your fender(that's why dual rear have wide rear fenders.
Now its possible you have a drw in the back with srw wheels and small fenders....but!...the body would be way narrow.
The diff covers are the same for both rearends.
So it "looks" like you have a full floating SRW D70 under her.
By full floating it means the rear hubs ride on bearings like the front,you can pull all those small bolts on the hub and pull the axle out with the tires still on it and tires on the ground.
Big benefit to have that option.

these also look like the single wheels in you pic..
something like one of the 6000lb harbor freight floor jacks will jack the thing up fine. i even have used them on bobcat 331 excavators which weigh about 8000 lbs.
if i were getting different wheels, i would check the pickup/truck wrecking yards, they should not charge more than half the cost of a new wheel, and have to guarentee them to fit and not be out of round. i would also check for hole elongation and cracks between the stud openings. you also might get almost new tires on them for not much more..
the wrecking yards have to get rid of them somehow.. they either gotta sell them, or dismount the rims for the scrap pile, which leaves the tires that cost them for disposal... they are usually very happy to sell the wheels with the tires on...

FORD does make a SRW F-350 & VAN E-350 with single rear wheels. From looking at your pics I'd say it's suppose to be single rear wheel. vehicle. The rims are another story.
Check with the junkyards in your neck of the woods. You can get newer rims to replace the ones you have........
