Hello!

I'm working on a 1990 Blue Bird TC2000 Handy Bus with three auxiliary doors. Each has its own lock switches, which are tied into the warning buzzers and start circuit. I'd like to disable these circuits and use the wires for other 12V projects, along with some of the wheelchair lift circuits and the upper stop light wires. Could anyone provide me with a clean .pdf copy of the schematics for this bus? The local Blue Bird dealer was helpful, but his diagrams weren't!

Has anyone re-wired the Vandalock buzzer system to sound the horn in the event of an unauthorized entry through the rear door? I was driving a Thomas a few years ago for a private school, and we had repeated problems with someone getting on the bus through the unlocked emergency exit and making a mess when the bus was unattended. I put a jumper between the buzzer and the horn solenoid coil terminal in an attempt to discourage the delinquent youth. Problem was, I didn't stick around long enough to see their reaction!

BTW, I'm also looking for suggestions on super-bright 12V LED lighting strips to surface-mount on the original ceiling. I need to provide good lighting for the countertops and food prep areas.

Happy Trails!

OOPS! I forgot--the wheelchair lift door does not have a lock yet, but I need one. Does anyone have an extra cylindrical-keyed lock set, the kind that has a removable core that fits either into a short housing, so the core itself blocks the door's swing arm, or into a long housing, where it activates a switch to complete the starting circuit? Let me know!

Happy Trails!

If you are a member of Costco, you may be able to find a set of these:

They are very bright, would fit perfectly under a countertop, can be expanded, will join at a 90 degree elbow to turn corners, and they have a remote. :D
