New and old members please take the time......

It would probably work better for you to start a new thread with some sort of descriptor or question in the title of the thread.

Posting answers to your questions here will tend to send this thread in a totally different direction.

Starting a new thread is as simple as registering, picking a topic area in which your question will fit the best, and then posting your question.

Using the SEARCH button in the tool bar up above here can many times help you find the answer to your question. Most of the questions are not new or exclusive to your problem but more than likely the answer will solve your issue.

Good luck!

Thank you!

Hello, I am new here. I have a 40' 1988 Chevy bluebird school bus that I have tanks plumbed in with toilet, shower and sink plumbed in. Lost on how to use this site to my advantage

Hi there Wandering Dot... don't mind our residence funny guys

You have come to the right place!!!

So, on the main page (press Home), if you scroll down, you will see the different subjects. Under one of the ORANGE headings called SKOOLIE TECH, you will see the very first one is for electrical and wiring. Click on that. And then click on the black box NEW THREAD... and ask away!

Alternatively, you can use the Search feature (which is kind of hidden in all the stuff up above) squished between New Posts and Quick Links... in there you can type something like electrical wiring diagrams, you might be shocked what you come up with!

This is a big family... of the most helpful, generous and experienced (at least in something) people, you could ever meet.

WELCOME :wink1:

Are you still in the Houston area? How are you guys doing with all the flooding.

Sandi

It looks terrible on tv- people are just getting out with their shirts on their back. They got 3 feet of rain in few days.

When you think of all the time and energy invested in your skoolie, house, car and to have it all just drowned in brown water. awful.

Prayers to Texas !

I'm blessed to say I am high and dry. The little chemical plant that had the issues, is about 10 miles East of us, so the wind kept it's fumes away, from us too.
I know that Tango has some water issues, but he said the bus, and shop were OK. Phatman's bus is OK (I think). I don't know about others, but hope that they are Ok, as well.

Thanks for the update!

I'll second the Chicken Bus choice...it would blend right in. Only problem will be 39 people (with chickens) jumping on it every time you come to a stop.

Have fun and keep us up on your progress.

Thanks skoolie.net members..

I am a new member. Minutes old in fact.. I am still trying to figure out how to post something! I was about to bail on this forum as I have a short fuse from time to time.. but when I came across this post , indeed my BP lowered , Im glad to see this post. And will in fact stay because of it. Too much nonsense in the world to bring it to a forum where everyone enjoys the same thing .a BUS...I'll keep trying to find my way now...I have pics of an old.bus I'm proud of is all.. I got inspiration and help from.skoolie.net and we took it out for it's first trip Saturday so I decided to join today and share ...thanks to u all...

Welcome to "the farm" We love pictures, and yours will be no exception. Be patient, cause before you will be able to post pics. you need to have a handful of non-picture posts. Start by telling us about yourself, then perhaps, another post giving details of your bus. etc. etc. THEN bingo you will magically be able to share your heartthrob with us.
See ya!

Forgot to suggest that you start a new thread under the Intro section or any of the topics listed in the forum. That way your posts won't get buried in this section.
good luck

Ok. Thought I'd filled out my profile with all my bus info now I can't find it to check. Someone teach the dumbazz please?
