New Cummins engine coming

looks like it will be a nice engine I wonder if it will be high rev like the t444e(7.3 power stroke). question is, do we need a v8, the in line 6 has been a great engine for cummins, and international. I bet it will be a expensive option , and Im not see the point having it in a half ton truck.
