Hello.
I am watching these Skoolie conversions since quite some years now. Have watched Transcendence (Wess), Chris, Life is a Joy (Jim and Debbie), BussyMcBussface, the Knapp Family and others build their busses and went several times to Skooliepalooza (I guess spelling is wrong again
) here in Ehrenberg, AZ to meet them and others and to see those busses in person. If you ever have the opportunity to go to a Bus meeting..... DO IT !!! These people are mostly awesome, open minded, love to show their Riggs, are willing to give tips and hints.
Since years now, I have the dream to build one by myself. I haven't bought a Bus yet, but most likely will get one from Toni, owner of AAA-Bus here in Phoenix. Right now I am trying to figure out all the solar stuff I will need for the Bus and how to install everything without causing any shortages in the system. Plumbing should be pretty straight forward as well as the building itself. One milestone will be the roof raise though.
I am making a living as a Handyman so I hope I have enough knowledge and the tools (except Pex and rivet tools) to do this all by myself.
At this point I'd like to thank each and every one of you for your posts on this platform, hoping to be able to learn a lot from them.
