new here, just bought our shuttle bus to convert.

Without seeing, I'm betting its an AIC (aux. idle control). It was an option mainly used to adjust the idle for quicker warm up-or to run a pto. Best thing about it is its also a digital tach. Mine is mounted in the passenger side kick panel so it must have a fairly long harness. I've seen pics of them mounted on the doghouse or dash.
If you decide you don't want it, sell it on a diesel forum-they go for a couple hundred.

yep that looks like what I have, guess I should plug it in and see if it works.

so what do the buttons do?

Thank you for this! Still not sure what exactly that unit does for me without a pto/lift anymore, but thats a start!

OP - I was able to request a wiring diagram through Champion's email, tracing wires was fine, but the diagram was good insurance. 2 of the 4 relays in the fuse box above the driver are the Parking Interlock for the lift/lights. This can all be removed fairly easily, I left the rear AC and heater circuits intact because both of mine are still functional!

*Oops, didnt realize how old this thread is!
