Welcome to the site! (Or rather...welcome to bus ownership)

I like the idea of a Mad max/zombie sort of theme...people always joke that when the zombie apocalypse happens, I'll be well prepared with my bus haha. What sort of stuff were you thinking about doing to stick with the theme?
Good job already getting the floor up. It always seems so easy in theory, but then you start tearing everything apart and it takes forever. I can only imagine what its like for people who are tearing up seats for 70+ students in a full-size bus. Keep us posted on the progress! Gonna keep the old wood floor or do new wood?

Smitty, but what happens when you return to your bus after shopping/whatever and only find a smoking wreck. Dont forget, Bond's cars were rigged with explosives, if tampered with, they tended to go boom... but then again, most of Bond's cars went boom, or lot of little holes.

Don't mean to add to the derailment of the thread, but all this talk of James Bond cars reminds me of my old Ford Escort I had in high school. I wired a 100,000 volt stun gun into the bottom of the drivers seat, then installed a keyed switch into the console to arm/disarm it. When armed, the system would deliver 100,000 volts to the ass of anyone who tried to steal the car (it was set up to trigger if anyone hit the brake, as if to shift it out of park). I also had rocket-launchers built and wired, but the car was totaled before I could get them installed. I used model electrically-ignited hobby rocket engines and homemade rocket bodies. Hahahah I miss that car

 Dude, that is AWESOME! :p

But don't forget the bars on the door! Can't have the zombie hordes just bustin in the door while the windows stay safe.
And the biohazard symbol should be on the yellow front panel where it really stands out. Either that, or paint it in yellow on the grey so it's easier to see.

Can't wait to see the final build!

Don't forget that ol' van nose stickin out the front is the weakest part of your bus... you're gonna want to protect that thing with a good front bumper, preferably with some big spikes.

Awesome paint and design idea! I want one! Though, in the absence of any real zombies, I'd think that the grating over the windows would get annoying over time. I know it would drive me nuts to be "caged in" all the time. Don't let novelty get TOO FAR in the way of practicality!

Oh, if its those undead we're talking about...well...I've lived in San Francisco my whole life...I'm rather well acclimated hahahah
