New member Question

Hey guys my name is Eric from Queens, NY and I've been looking like crazy for the perfect skoolie to do a 9K trip around the US for a month, I wanted a short bus (not so cheap with decent miles) and i just found a 96 E350 7.3 with a rebuilt tranny, engine has 236k its a shuttle bus with the double door handicap side entrance. Plan on doing all the interior work etc, its already cleaned out no seats or anything. my question is that a good motor? i know for a diesel 236k isnt a crazy amount i just don't want to get stuck on the side of the road. any help will be appreciated.

Many people say the 7.3 is one of the best diesels you can buy. A lot of shuttle bus builds in the short bus section, check it out. Welcome.

No issues on mine. The foam gasket seals tight and the curve seems to help direct water away from the gasket.
