Just wanted to say hello to everyone, n thanks 4 having me. I'm from BBN.. big Blue nation(Kentucky ). I'm planning on buying a bus next spring n get started immediately. I'll take all the advice, tip,pointers, how to or not to's ect. U can give me. I currently hold a class "A" CDL license, so I'm other restricted by air brakes.. I drove a 18 wheelers for 17yrs. I'm fond of diesel engines but am open to suggestions. Looking forward to hearing from everyone n I'll see u down the road. .take care everyone

Got my bus up in Elkton, KY.
Really nice people up there, and a beautiful drive through some nice tobacco country. KY is a pretty nice state to get a bus from, I've had two buses which both coincidentally came from Todd County. Odd as I'm in Lake County, FL.

If I were up there looking for a bus, I'd be keeping my eyes peeled for an all mechanical AmTran or Ward in whatever size you like. Diesel all the way, don't even bother with gas if you plan on driving it much.

While you're looking into buses, also start looking into places to store it, work on it, and insure it. Those three are the biggest issues around.

I own 3 and finding them to buy is easy. Finding a place to park and store them is hard.

I got lucky when I got my bus. My buddy was renting a house with sufficient parking for it, then I took over the place this past January. The landlord wasn't too keen, but he's been patient with our work on my bus
