i think the chev bus is high price for the year.
as far as the one with the 7.3, more information is needed, as there is more than one thing that can cause vehicle to go to idle only. It is more in the proper price range, and repair might cost you $1000 esp since you cannot fix them yourself..
i would be way more interested in the mechanical condition of a bus than the color when i bought it.
as far as the manufacturer, it doesn't matter much, since all them just order off the shelf running gear and frames, with just the bodies being a bit different, and if you were scrapping one out without knowing what kind it was, you would have a hard time telling what it was unless you had scrapped lots of them...fwiw.
i currently have a thomas, and have have bluebird and wayne school busses as well as coach busses.. all the school busses seem to be built way more solid than any coach bus...

On the 7.3-Going with the KISS theory-a common small item that goes-CPS-crankshaft position sensor. $15 any parts store. one bolt to change it. Mine did the same thing.

also using it for commercial purpose make sure to rip out most of the seats probably leaving two and say its a cargo carrier. still gonna have to get it inspected probably annually.

In a shortie, I'd look for a bus with a straight six diesel, either an International dt360, or a Cummins ISB 5.9. It's best to get the best engine and drive train that you can afford.
That gasser might be a great bus, but no title no buy (unless it's really cheap.)

I call BS somethings up! and he has current registration and insurance?how do you get registration w/o a title?
On our 36 chevy it was to old for a title,so bill of sale and we were issued a title...
I would be leaary of that one,it may have a title but it has a lien on it.
Get the vin number and go to tag office ask nicely if they can tell you about the vin,like if its stolen or has lien on it,they should help you for free

If you are in the Atlanta area, as your website claims, and you have only found two buses, then you have not looked very hard!

Run up to Alto (take I-85N to 985. Stay on 985 until it is no more. It becomes Hwy 23) to Wades Garage. You can't miss it. It's acres of school buses next to the highway. Just north of the Kanagroo Express gas station/convenience store on the opposite side of the road.

Type "Alonzo Wade Auto Parts Service, 198 Alonzo Wade Road Alto, GA 30510-3812" into any map search engine. Set it to the satellite view. Look. Lots of buses. Some run, some don't. It's not that far away and you can get a good price.
