New Shuttle Bus Owner 24 foot Aerotech

I bought a 2002 E450 22 passenger off Public Surplus. I has CNG (5.4) and 189K. Drove it from Modesto to Ventura. Ran good. Have tough time getting up the grapevine. 25mph and scary. The CNG tank is only 15 gallons! I plan on taking to the beach and staying close to home. Big AC works okay. The front steering and suspension may need some attention.

I just want to convert to an RV by DMV, insure it, and then start work. So I'm looking to little into until then. Any suggestions or advice. Thank you in advance.

Just a heads up before you spend a lot of money doing a conversion. Has the fuel tank been replaced or recertified? A while back there was a 15 year age limit on cng tanks here in Ca. I don't know what the situation is now either in Ca. or nationally but you might want to dig into it a bit. Jack

Recerting an out of date propane tank is not that big of a process.

I thiught certifying a CNG tank was a tougher process.. the oressures are much higher... can you comnvert those back to gas or over to propane? propane stations wit road-taxed propane are plentiful out east but CNG is rough to find

It looks like CNG stations are reasonably available in the bigger cities in California.
