Hello! I just bought a bus to convert to a little home, I have no idea what I'm doing but I keep finding wonderful community in sites like this:)

Tell us more about your Bus, and include pictures.

Add pictures of the whole bus, plus any areas you may have questions on about it.

It's a 2008 International Coach-24 feet. The seats have been taken out and a bed frame build but that's it. I've ordered the manual online to learn everything I can about it. I've been looking for years and this baby popped up so I grabbed it. Now the planning and all that comes with it begins. Thank you so much for the welcome:)

You're gonna have a fun time working on it. The only thing paralyzing for me is the roof raise, the rest of it is pure joy.

My bus arrived home tonight! I don't know that I'll raise the roof, I'm going to camp out in it for a few days and feel it out. It's just me and my pup so I may leave it:) Yes, I'm feeling the joy already!

Nice bus! Good call on camping - get a feel for it and get some ideas for what you need and what you don't. Have fun!

Evaluate it as-is by using it the way you like, and you may discover it needs much less investment -- money and your dwindling resources of time -- in any conversion.

Portraits of the dog?

I'm glad to see another Medium bus owner. I don't own, but I have driven an IC-CE. They are nice and run well. My first suggestions are the basics for buying any vehicle, check oil, coolant and other engine fluids. If your bus has air brakes or an air system, I would check for air leaks. Your bus is new enough to assume it has DEF and DPF. I would do a little research on how to service those systems. I can say from my experience with a nearly 27 year old bus that rubber don't last forever, my bus had crunchy coolant hoses and still has an air leak on the driver's seat. Your bus looks great and I hope it serves you as an amazing project and vehicle!
