New to the Skoolie thing but not the road life or builds.
I’m Líyoté! Live in San Diego. Have worked on builds of all types over the years. I’m excited for my first Skoolie. It’s kinda small (I know!) but excited nonetheless.
I’m a dog dad, contractor dude and content creator. So, I’m up for the challenges this will bring and will make some content along the way to share with the world. Any constructive advice or ideas on the build, I will welcome… anyone near SD with materials or appliances to gift, sell or trade - LMK!
I bought a 2008 Ford E450 Cutaway made by Blue Bird in an online auction. I pick it up in a couple days to start my journey. It only has 142k miles on it! Price feels like a steal for this fully-functioning bus!
The immediate plan is to put a Class 5 tow bar on it and pull my 26ft travel trailer during the build out. Then, I’ll sell the trailer when it’s finished enough to live in.
