Newbie 1983 24' Carpenter

Just bought a 24' 1983 Carpenter Bus with only 43K miles 350 Chevy (leaking oil but runs strong) Brand new Rebuilt T300 Transmission. Only driven on Sundays! (Seriously it belonged to a Church).

I have an old Travel trailer which had a mold problem which I plan to salvage lots of hardware from including Water pump, tanks, hot water heater Black and Grey tanks... Thoughts?

I imagine there is already a thread about pulling or not the inside tin and apply spray foam insulation....

What kind of MPG am I looking at (thinking 8-10) Its a P30 chassie I think 19.5" radials 14K GRVW.

How much towing capacity would this have?

I think parts should be pretty easy to find for this right?

Anyone know what it takes to get it reclassified as an RV in NY?
