Newbie from NE Florida

Hello! I’m a newbie to skoolies, from Northeast Florida.

I’m researching skoolies with the intention of purchasing a larger capacity bus, and living in it full time on a friend’s piece of property, and eventually I plan to live on my own land. I’m interested in having a home base, as I work in the outdoor ed industry and teach yoga, and occasionally taking the bus on a long vacation- so, I don’t plan to be hyper mobile. I’m still solidly in the research stage, am putting together my budget, and am looking into the pros and cons of different busses.

I’m lurking around this forum quite a bit, soaking up lots of info, and appreciate that this community exists! Thanks, all!

Sandi, hello, nice to meet you! I heard about the Tiny House show in St. A from the US Green Building Council of FL. I’d attended a meeting a couple months ago about their LEED certified Tiny House, and REALLY wanted to go, but was working all weekend.
