Newbie looking for a Shortie

OK, do not own one yet, but it has been a thought of mine for a while. Looking to get a small skoolie and convert to a camper. I have my eyes on a 1990 GMC shortie. I hope to go look at it today or very soon. Should know more details after that. Is there anything I should be looking out for? Tell me the good, the bad & the ugly! Where is a good place to investigate some comparable buying costs?

Hey, I'm from Murderland too. Just getting into the skoolie craze also. Been researching lightly for years and heavily for months. Started looking at busses and making offers - nothing has stuck yet, but feel it is very close.

If you can get photos and details of the engine, transmission, rear axle, and of course your desired use of it (i.e. what kind of camping and what duration, expected travel distances, etc.), there are lots of folks that can and will provide opinions. If you do get photos, please post them.
