Hey everyone im the new proud owner of a 1988 International S1600. It’s a 26’ U-Haul box truck. I know there is a lot to say about buying an old U-Haul but let the record show I just drove up into the Appalachian mountains with no issues and passed a big rig while doing it! I was proud of it. My issue is with 4th gear. It throws me out of 4th if I stay there to long, but it’s time to shift anyway… I’ve been told it’s the sequencers…? Also told it’s an easy fix. Finding these parts is not easy. I think it’s a Spicer transmission obviously manual shift, 5 speed, and reverse is on the left if that helps.
