Hi yall!
While looking at the idea of getting a camper or an RV to live in I decided I really liked the idea of a bus conversion. My goals with a conversion are full time living for cheaper rent (Land or driveway instead of a room in a house). I'm in Portland, OR, where cost of housing is becoming more than a cost of living should be. I'm also tired of transferring as much of my money to someone else's pocket in the first place. Furthermore, I'll be graduating college in a couple years and would like a cheap place to live for my first post-college job while I pay off any student debt that comes up(so far none.. but soon enough). A skoolie seems like the perfect way to accomplish this goal. With that, hello to all of you! I look forward to extracting every little grain of knowledge I can from y'all while providing what expertise I have in return.
----- info about me
I am a professional mechanic with motor(car/truck/anything reciprocating) and structural(aluminum and other sheet metals, riveting, some welding) experience.
