Hello everyone! Been lurking here a while, finally decided to post.. :hide:

My wife and I have been talking about pickin up a bus for a little while now. Tomorrow, we have the chance to check out a 91 GMC 6000 (B-series?). I was hoping to get the scoop on this make and model from anyone who is keen on knowing it. I do know that it is a gas model, not sure which engine. Luckily it was used as a tailgating bus and has already been retitled to RV. :Thanx:

Depends what you're gonna use it for. Gas engines aren't very desirable for bus conversions intended to see a lot of miles or hauling a lot of weight.

Intent is full-time living, parked for a majority of the time. Cold climates are very likely so gas seems logical for our application.

Bad news, guy just called back and said his partner potentially sold the bus.. unless they back out, we are out of luck and the search continues!

My first bus was a gas Thomas. It was free, and I'm real glad I didn't pay money for it. Thing sucked down fuel and was slow to boot.

Maybe there was a reason this one got pulled out from under us. We'll contemplate our options, thanks for the input.
