Day 2 of my skoolie adventure
-Removed the bunk beds previous owner installed to accommodate 4 people.
-General cleaning
-Quick check and approval from diesel mechanics (I forget what its called but you can see leaking from a wheel, fluid checked-confirmed low but will survive short trips until they can fit my bus in their schedule)
-Wiring is starting to bother me.. switches for the signs and lights don't work and I'll need to figure out how to clean all that up
-As far as the layout.. endless possibilities makes it difficult to make a final decision which keeps me up at night but so far I love it. It puts a smile on my face
-I realize I didn't get a fancy DT engine but I think I'll live..
-I read somewhere not to buy a skoolie someone else started but I like the fact that I don't have to deal with a bunch of bus seats rotting in the yard
-Previous owners installed the flooring, rear and front cameras, fresh interior paint.
-Looking into window tinting.. leaning towards the fancy thermal tinting from concord: Auto 2 Ply HP Premium Charcoal 5% | Concord Window Films
I think it might be worth the investment
-My idea is to travel around the country and eventually determine where I would like to live permanently however its not a priority in my life.
To be my avatar (I was super excited to get the bus so when I calmed down it was too dark and now I have a spooky night pic):
