Hello all,
There is an auction near me with 7 school buses for sale. There isn't a lot of info on the auction page about each bus. I was wondering if I could get input on a few of them and questions I should ask the auction company. If the prices stay lower close to the auction close I will go do an inspection on the ones I may be interested in, but I know nothing about engines, especially diesel. I have read through the recent inspection guide (which is awesome, by the way). If I think I have a decent chance of scoring a bus I will try to get a mechanic out to look at it.

Here are the buses I am considering:

2003 Freightliner. 25 passenger, 198,000 miles, Cat 7.3 engine

2003 Freightliner. 25 passenger, 187,000 miles, Cat 7.2 engine
https://www.k-bid.com/auction/32958/item/674

1996 Chevy Bluebird. 61 passenger, 172,000 miles, Cat 7.2 engine
https://www.k-bid.com/auction/32958/item/580

2003 International. 65 passengers, 244,000 miles, DT466 engine
https://www.k-bid.com/auction/32958/item/485

I really wanted the 18 passenger, but it's a 2006 and the engine is a VT365 which doesn't seem to be liked much

Thanks!!!

If the "MN" in MNbusboy stands for Minnesota, you don't want any of them. They will all be incredibly rusted if they're local.
