No stranger to school buses as they've part of the items I've sold on behalf of OC school districts for the past ten years. Lately it's been tough to get older big buses because districts would rather trade them in for NG and get a big emissions discount and perfectly good buses getting scrapped. Tend to get a lot of early '90s Ford Collins E350 short buses. Have sold to buyers who have bus routes in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean and it always amazes me that some people have no fear driving a bus they just purchased 3,000 mi to it's next home. Also a lot of conversion to science buses and tumbling/gymnastic buses.
I like to repurpose vehicles rather than send them to the scrap yard. Not everybody can afford these buses but if we make them affordable someone can perhaps fulfill a dream and bring smiles to everyone around them.
