Parking for long periods of time

So I have a semi-permanent spot for my bus as I'm still in school for the next year and a half, but I'm worried about parking it for such an extended time. It's a 2001 Bluebird front engine with a Cat 3126 Diesel. Is there any fuel treatment products I should use? Any way to jack it up off the tires while it's on gravel? Any ideas would be great! :biggrin:

This is the only additive/treatment I use on my bus.
Just make sure you go start it up every couple months and change the fluids when you go to actually drive it.

Park it with a full tank to avoid condensation in the tank. Driving it for 20 miles or so once a month will give the tires a workout and delay sidewall rot.

Sadly driving it 20 miles a month won't be doable, I'm cancelling the insurance while I have it parked (Statefarm doesn't like 18 year olds to own busses so they make it way too expensive)... $320 a month is too damn much

For fuel preservation I prefer to use PRI D for diesel. If used properly it
will keep fuel refinery fresh for up to ten years. For tires you could park
them on plywood or rubber mats to keep them from the elements. Running
it every two or three months will require close to an hour of running to
get it up to full temperature which usually requires a load being applied to the
engine. Preferably not at an idle, I usually turn on the a/c system and set it
at high idle in order to get it to operating temperature.

Yeesh! I don't think I pay that much per year for mine.
