When I used to travel the southwest I would occasionally see rear engine school buses with louvers in the engine compartment door on the rear. Does anyone have any pictures of that?
Looking to get rid of some heat in the engine compartment. This is a newer Bluebird than mine. The rear compartment is aluminum about 3/16 thick. Couldn't actually cut louvers into that do you think cutouts with some sort of grill would work?
Expanded metal would look fine built on a firm frame, make it removable.
Be careful doing a cutout though, these cut types can do damage that is a pain to fix.
Your question made me think of the old Corvair louvered ear deck. Getting old but always remembered that image.
