Hello, we've had our 1996 Thomas for about 1.5 years. We lived in it exclusively for about 8 months around Portland OR. We're going to sell it soon and convert a shorty instead. It has a 8.3L Cummins, Alison trans with 6th gear unlocked, and is basically all Ikea inside with bath, shower, king bed, bunk beds, sink, refrigerator, about a dozen 120v outlets, propane hot water, 550 mah battery bank, wood stove, and many other comforts. 55 gal water tanks and ability to connect to external water and power make it easy to go anywhere. I am a general contractor with many years experience in residential and commercial construction so the conversion is solid. It's currently getting primered in army green. Thanks for looking!
