Power steering Reservoir?

Hey guys! I have another beginner bus related question.

I am in search of the power steering pump on an 1992 international 3800 bus. On the drivers side there is a black pump that says "Check oil with the pump running" on the cap. It leads directly into the engine. A few people how looked at it and no one is exactly sure what the pump does. Is this the power steering pump? What do you guys think? It's black and cylindrical....about the size of an oil filter.

by the description it sounds like it, follow hose down and see if it goes to a pump on the engine, the pump should also have a hose going to the steering box, hope this helps
