Previous insulation

So there’s already some insulation under walls and seems like ceiling too in this 2006 international re300. Just wondering if all buses have this already, and wether I should just get rid of it and use newer better stuff then .

Here's the short version:

If you have a metal outer panel connected to metal frame connected to metal inner panel, it really doesn't matter what's in the gap. You have no insulation.

Yes, all buses have this. Yes I would replace it with more efficient material. Whether you do this or not is up to you.

If it is the typical fiber insulation...


1. It doesn't do much of anything...except...
2. Grow mold.
