My bus came home today. Only thing that did not work was the key at the driver's seat won't start the bus and the low air buzzer will not turn off. However the start button at the motor does work and the air was 120psi. 60 miles no major issues.

Good luck! Looks like a nice bus.

If the bus starts without any problems from the back but not from the front it might be that the engine start switch in the rear is switched to the rear position.

That switch is there to prevent someone from getting into the driver's seat and trying to start the bus up front while someone has their hands in places that could be damaged if the bus should start at an inopportune time.

If the low air buzzer doesn't shut off when the air pressure goes above 60 PSI I have to ask the question as to whether or not you know for sure it is the low air pressure buzzer. Many times an emergency exit open light and buzzer will go off if all of the emergency doors, exits, and hatches are not completely closed. Roof hatches are particularly bad about not shutting the buzzer off even though the hatch is down and locked.

Just recently another thread was started about a bus not wanting to start. Come to find out the problem wasn't an open emergency door but an emergency door vandal lock that wasn't opened.

If it really and truly is the low air pressure light and buzzer going off you may just have a bad sending unit. The sending unit could be in one of at least a dozen locations. I have no idea where exactly but I would start under the dashboard.

Good luck and I am glad you got it home without any further drama.

your bus reminds me of the MN vikings, even the color of the bus matches. lol. did you pick it up there by any chance?

Burl we got it in boise id.
Cristopher going to keep most of the purple but the yellow will turn either white or teal.
