Raised roof bracing

question for those who have done a raise roof. i have a flat nose bus. for the front and back end, what are you doing for extra support. it looks like there is met stud frame members from original height. are people welding a few horizontal tubes.
 
Yes. On the caps front and back, they weld in new tubing to make up for the new height.

Or they aren't moving the front cap and do a blend downwards which still requires tubing.

You need to add supports where I've drawn my red lines.

Get some square tubing and weld it as a cross frame into the hat channels for strength.

Doesn't have to be exactly how I drew them, But try to keep a similar pattern and do what fits. Most buses have this already but when you roof raise it you double it up. I'm surprised to see no bracing there at all on yours by default.
