Selling the Carrier split air conditioner out of my short bus. Everything seems to work fine but it doesn't blow super cold. It's still in the bus at this time. I'll sell it to the best offer or even give it away if I don't get any offers. I'm located just outside of Warrensburg, Missouri.

Did you even get a nibble?

I've got THREE sets from my 40' AmTran and they were working great before removal. I hate to toss them in the scrap yard but I haven't seen anyone looking either.

Oh I need a/c. I'm going to reroute the lines and install a condenser for the dash a/c.

Are you using a donor vehicle for the necessary parts? I recently picked up an 02 micro bird and was thinking of the same. Please post updates if possible.

I won't know until I tear into it. I know I'll need a new condenser as well as some is the lines... Maybe more. I'll post when I find out.

I've pulled all of mine as well along with all the lines. Our bus will have a mini split in the front with the outside unit in the massive open space behind the bumper and the interior unit in the front center between the drivers seat and the door.

It will also have another mini split in the bedroom. Both are 9000 BTU units capable of cooling the entire space alone but we figure with the interior obstructions we might need two and redundancy is always good.

They're 110 VAC units and will be powered off of our 3000 watt inverter/charger/transfer switch.

It's tough to convince another that she might know more in the future, than she does right now.

Driving a hot bus without cold a/c makes an uncomfortable driver.

Sometimes, the hindsight of bystanders, offers more wisdom than the foresight of oneself.
