Hi, I'm Forrest..
and this is my bus

I acquired it approximately three years ago and joined this sight about the same time. When I got it I wasn't sure what the end goal was, But soon found inspiration on here and other places on the internet and subsequently settled on a fulltime, livable, Tiny house, bus RV conversion thing. After contemplating doing a "Party bus" and enclosed boat hauler as well as other oddball ideas, This seemed to be the most useful.

It is a 1971 Thomas on a c/50 cowl chassis
It has a 350 with a 4 speed (I cant remember if its a NP or a Saginaw at the moment)
It has all the basic RV stuff in it except an inverter 120 only works hooked up to shore power
I milled the paneling from local pine
The cook top is a griddle
heat is from a waste oil stove
The flooring is a cork click together type

There is still plenty left to do including finishing the shower, the bathroom area and lots of random odds and ends that never really get "done" I have been living in it off and on for a few months now with no real problems. And well I think the rest of the story can be told mostly with pictures

The windows themselves are straight, It had sheet metal riveted on the posts, to look like a crown I suppose. I have since removed most of them and will take the rest off eventually. They block light and collect dirt and leaves and junk behind them.

Thank you Tango, The pictures make it look better than It is.
