If it's for hire, hauls 15 or more people and is titled as a bus a CDL is mandatory, if it's titled as a RV, not for hire, and is used only for personal use a regular license should be all that is necessary.
If this is a for profit undertaking, you should probably talk to your insurance agent, accountant, attorney, bailbondsman, state police, and DMV to try to stay out of trouble.
Commercial liability insurance is going to cost major$$$.

great thanks, how about if its not for hire and its for personal use but occasionally we would have more than 15 people? but i see what your saying thanks for your time

hey also what about insurrance to the point that it weighs more than a normal truck etc. would i get rv insurrance then?

thanks for your time

usually the most economical way is to convert your bus to a rv and then retitle as a rv to get the best insurance rate, 15 nonpaying passengers in propr seats should not be a problem, still check with your local public servants for their opinion.

ok so i looked up the rv insurrance and that wont be bad at all its just sometimes we might have more than 15 people so idk about that part. thanks for the info and progressive had really cheap insurrrance!

thanks for your time
