Remote Propane Connection

My bus’ propane setup consists of a barbecue tank. I’ve been thinking it would be nice to have a connection in a hatch on the side of the bus to connect a little barbecue grill or big camping stove. Has anyone done this?

We put a quick connect for grills on every conversion we do, both bus and ambulance. They're great. Juan and Michelle, of Beginning From This Morning, included a quick connect in their build and they just posted the video recently:

Absolutely in my build plan to have a propane quick connect outside on the party side of the bus. The plan is to have a portable fire pit in the garage for those times where no open fires are permitted by the park or campground.

That’s a great idea. I don’t have room, but I could get a bag of glass chips to turn my grill into a fire bowl!
