Remove plywood without removing rubber flooring?

Yeah I just wanna know if anyone has tried this:
I was thinking of pulling up just enough of the rubber floor to find the seams of the plywood and then Use a heavy duty box cutter/laminate tile cutter to cut the rubber along the seams and then just going straight to lifting up the plywood. Just seems like ripping up the rubber is an unnecessary step if you’re just going to pry up the plywood. Anyone have some insight as to why this is or isn’t a good idea? Anyone tried it? Thanks in advance!

I've heard of people getting a car jack under the plywood and using that to pry it up...if that would work then the rubber would stretch and be easier to cut

Demolition is done any way that works best for you. The rubber mats are fairly heavy, but if you can pull them together by cutting the seams it would be a good thing.
