I am removing my rear heater, partly just to get it out of the way during the prepping and the build (I intend to install a new one once I start my lay out. In the mean time I am completing the loop of my coolant lines and want to use black iron pipe nipples to join my existing lines and a u I purchased. Do I need to clean or do anything to the black iron prior to using? Thanks.
