Hi All,
I saw this while searching around on eBay. It's something called a Rivet Buster. Apparently it's for removing rivets on an industrial scale for scrapping and disassembly operations.
Here is an example of one in action.
Anyway, I need someone to buy this and test it out on their bus.
After removing all of the rivets for the roof raise with a Harbor Freight air hammer and chisel, I would have tried anything.
On a side note: I'm surprised that industrial rivet removal is just as limited and primitive as we have defaulted to for our buses. Convergent evolution, I suppose.
This is more indicative of my experience on our bus's rivets.
