Removing Rust from Propane Tanks

Ha! That's hilarious. I don't know how I didn't see that date when I bought them. I believe there are some self service ones in my area that you fill up yourself, and the guy I bought it from said he never had any issues getting them filled. I believe the DOT ones have to be certified every fill up, from my understanding the ASME ones don't have to be recertified, but it's recommended to.
I don't know if I mentioned, but they do(at least one of them) holds propane fine as it has a bit in it currently. And its relatively structurally sound cause I kicked it with my steel toe the other day where it was rusty, not that that's a trustworthy metric at all haha.
Sounds good though, I'll likely sell them if the companies don't get back to me and get some new ones. On the other hand though I could probably turn these into some pretty neat underbus lockers. Doubt anyone would look too hard and try to break into them. Thanks for the input!
