Okay Gang,

My wife is at it again! :banghead: She wants me to remove the front turns signal lights and wire the turn signals into the amber lights just at the end of the front bumper. :hide:

Has anyone attempted this before? She said the present turn signal lights remind her of eyeballs. She already has me changing the rear lights. Which I kind of agree with her. She has allowing me to pick the LEDs at least. :surrender:

I think that's the first time I've seen your bus. Very nice ride.

Don't delete, replace with smaller ones. If you open the door they are attached to, you can see the hole from the backside (giggity). I think it's about 2".

Get some cool LED lights to pop-in the old hole. Style and safety. Ez Peasy.

I had similar lights and wanted them gone. Lucky for me there was already another set of signals next to the headlights. Yesterday I welded a patch on the inside, bondo and paint.

Well.... I agree with Rusty & Capt. Squid.

I like to be as visible as I can to surrounding traffic. I don't want to give them the opportunity to say "but I didn't see your turn signal"....

If it were me: I would tell SWMBO that you will remove them if she insists but it would be safer to have her pick out some new, pretty ones for you to install...

In the end we do have to remember the wise words of the philosopher Jeff Foxworthy..."If Momma ain't happy then you ain't happy.."

Me? If I could, I'd have the entire front end one massive turn signal. On the back end, I'd have 1/3 backup, 1/3 brake lights and 1/3 turn signals.

Just slap a flatscreen tv on the back. Your brake lights could be GIF animations.

For the Good Rev's bus, I suggest Sequential LED Turn Signal Light Bar.

Make them disappear by using a clear lens with a amber bulb / led behind it.

His was for the front- was thinking something more understated. The ones you pictured- are called 6" oval- great for rear.

maybe more like this:

I think I am going with the 2010-2017 Ford Mustnag sequential read turn signals. Maybe even wire one set low and one set 2/3rds of the way up for traffic behind the immediate vehicle behind me.

I wish, I was dreaming about those also. However I am having issue with the LED taillights I was trying to install. I can just imagine trying to stall the Mustang lights.

I ordered some LED lights 2 weeks ago, they just came in today . A little pricier than I wanted, but they look nice.

They are from Canada (China) and called Trux Dual Revolution and have multiple colors in the same LED chip. Hopefully they last.

These will be my turn signals instead of those big ugly rectangles, but wiring will be more involved than just swapping them out.

Here is a video of the 3 modes-

Amber turn
Blue (bright)
