I Bought a 1976 Bluebird School bus (Price was just too Good) and upon Inspection The floor needs a replacing, I realized the floor was only Plywood and no metal, Now How do I install a metal bottom before my insulation and floor. What type of metal and how thick and how do I do it? :Thanx::

Some pictures of what you working on may help others get an idea of what your trying to replace, both of my buses had metal floor in them, 16 gauge+ but they are built with many supports underneath. If you have a support across your frame every 12-16" you could probably do something similar.

So you lifted the plywood and there was no metal floor underneath? That is too weird.

Hello all, On the day I pulled up the plywood I only got a chance to pull up from the rear door to the rear wheel well. There was no metal under that section. Since then I have torn up the rest of the floor and there is metal, Apologies for the confusion.
