When I was in my 20s I hitchhiked the US and lived on the road for about 2 years and have had the wanderlust ever since. In that time I fell love with all the hippie school buses I encountered along the way and always dreamed of what I would do if I had one of my own. I've been 10 years off the road now, single, no kids and making good money. So now is my chance to do it right, and in style. I have one year to be out of this lease that I'm in, and by that time the plan is to be out of debt, at that point I'm putting 90% of my money into my dream and become a full timer. Solar panels, veggie oil conversion the whole deal.... I hope to learn as much as I can from ya'll and hopefully find some leads

welcome, this is the place to learn and share as well. Vagabond lifestyle is what we crave, getting closer to doing it ourselves, just have to figure out how to have the steady income $$ when on the road.

:welcome:Welcome, I too learned so much about the convention process form this site. Look at as many as you can and use the ideas you see, and the most important thing is to have FUN!!!!!:marshmallow:

If you're not afraid to live a little like a gypsy there's definitely money that can be made out there

My biggest plan is to reduce my energy and fuel costs by using solar power and veggie oil then to have a number of crafts Going to hit up rock and gem shows craft shows and sometimes a phish or widespread panic parking lots

With the govt the way it is and the changes going on, I can imagine a lot of trouble for the next president to deal with or not care about depending on who it is. Either way, it doesn't look good for the people of the US. I am glad I lived most of my life before now. Going off grid and loan free, we can be on the sidelines and watch how things turn out. Our plan is to get involved in as many red-cross and other volunteer programs to help people around the country after natural disasters.
