Just a quick hi. I haven't started my conversion yet, as I'm still in research and dreaming mode. Had considered doing this about 5 years ago but my dad thought I was crazy and should just buy an Rv. He had one and kept at it for me to buy. He priced it to me so low that I bought it instead, I couldn't have bought a bus for the price I paid for the full size RV (34ft). I had never drove anything larger than a SUV so I white knuckled it most of the way from Ohio to Central Illinois. Never was quite happy with it, it is beautiful but not a bus.
My daughter is moving to Florida this spring with her family and I having difficulty finding a place to rent without a job history in that area. So they are going to buy the RV for a family discount price and I am going to buy my Bus.
Don't need anything as big as the RV so I'm looking for a mid size to mini bus. I'm starting with as minimal conversion as I can make it legal. I'll work on dolling it up and finishing it to meet my needs as time goes by. Im hoping to go see the grandkids this fall.
