Rode a newer Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2 Today

Had a brief two-way trip on one of the newer Saf-T-Liners today.

It was full, nearly 70 kids and 4 adults.

Bus is a conventional layout with a Mercedes engine. Completely flat by the stairs, not intrusion of the engine at all.

I have to tell you ... If they have figured out the diesel emissions and made these buses reliable, it is going to make a great RV one day. Big windows with a dark tint, very quiet even right up front, and smooth.

That was was around $80000

The new Transit style activity buses that we bought, and vinyl wrapped, a couple of years ago were $160k each.
