Rollcall ! name of your bus

Depends on my mood at the time...

As for really naming our skoolie... We have considered using the same name that we were going to name the Eagle... Aluminum Asylum (Eagles have a steel frame but aluminum skin). Just not too sure if we should. Did you know that some people believe that aluminum (a toxic heavy metal) can make you "crazy"? We came up with that name for the Eagle because everyone we knew said "You want to do what? Are you crazy?" Oh what, that's pretty much the same thing when people would find out that we homeschooled our kids (among other nasty and rather rude things)... and when we said we were moving out West... and when we said we were buying the schoolbus to move our stuff with and that we would convert it to an RV once we got moved out here. Notice a trend? We prefer to think we are just a little different from the average person who strives to be the cream of the crap or worst of the best. 8) Then again, maybe it IS the aluminum!!!

Shenanigans

...unless we are having trouble hearing each other going down the road, or it isn't running right, or any other excuse to call it the 'Big Ole Rolling Turd'

Started out as "Big Mac", but the little body (8 year old son) decided on "Trooper", then watched Mad Max with me and changed to "Big Max" because Max needed a bigger home.....

As of late....it's been called SOB, POS, MFSOB, CSMFSOB, POSMFCSSOB,GDMFPOSSOB........

Smitty, you crack me up. Why is it I knew every one of those with out even trying.

My original idea was "Magic Bus" like the album and title song by The Who, and also alluding to the "Magic School Bus" children's books. But then I painted it white and someone on this forum joked I could call it "Moby Dick". I made the mistake of telling my wife this, and she has latched onto this negative connotation (which suits her ambiguous attitude towards the bus) and has now been referring to it as "Moby Dick". I should start calling her "Ahab". So I'm not exactly sure what we will settle on - the bus will be looking less and less white as time and more paint goes on... I still call it the "Magic Bus".

Ok, Officially, it's called the "Bear Den" BUT, one day the kids stopped by unannounced and could'nt find me and the Mrs. After a couple knocks on the door of the den, they yelled "what ya do'in in there. :? Since then they have called it the Shagg'in Wagon. 8) We were sitting around the table laughing about it one day and the grandson (6yo) asked what it meant when dad said the bus is a rock'in. Son said "Grampa fell down again"
