Roof rack considerations

I have a 2003 chevy shorty. Cutaway express.
I recently aquired a rather robust luggage carrier that I am considering putting on roof for canoe hauling.
My concern is that it weighs in at 75lbs. I can easily span 3 roof ribs to support it.
Is this just to much weight to put up on roof ( before canoe and any gear)?

You can handle 75 lbs easily on that roof.

You'll be fine. People can walk on it at 300 lbs with no issues.
