you have condemned roof raises in your comments
Where did I say people should not do a roof raise? I assume that's what you mean by "condemned" since I never used that word.

maybe you didn't say exactly that in so many words, you just advised people not to ride in them - that's a strong condemnation in it's own right
Nobody should be riding in the back of a skoolie (raised or un-raised) without properly-attached seats and belts anyway, which almost nobody in the skoolie world actually has (also not having kitchen knives held up with magnets might help survivability). So the issue of whether you should ride around in the back of a raised skoolie is kind of moot anyway.
The subject of this thread was "Roof raise thoughts" which is the only reason I contributed in the first place. Lesson learned.
I thought I was clear about this but I guess not. In the absence of an accident where the bus rolls over, pretty much any roof raise method will hold together (although I have seen a few that seem like they'll start to break apart after a couple hundred miles of driving). When I talk about "prone to fail" I mean prone to fail in the case of a rollover accident.
I wonder how accurate their statement of "No 2 Bluebirds are the same" is? Surely a school buying a fleet of buses isn't going to get 20 buses that are all different.
Ok, that's it,
I'm baling out!!!
More thought food
I have had to identify, itemize, log, and COC countless tons (Chose your particular favorite: Short, Long, or Metric... Been there, done that, incinerated the tee shirts) of chemical hazmat. No problemo, negative perspiration. Was that the straw that broke the camels back?
LOL
That is WAY more than a singular straw, my friend.I have had to identify, itemize, log, and COC countless tons (Chose your particular favorite: Short, Long, or Metric... Been there, done that, incinerated the tee shirts) of chemical hazmat. No problemo, negative perspiration.
Bio waste, on the other hand (despite how that may sound like wiping and missing with one's dumb hand), is tantamount to a fart on an elevator.
Unless it's mine, I'd rather not risk inhaling it...
