I have been peeping in on you guys and gals for a bit. Whooo I like what I see. lol

I have dreamed about living on some wheels, from tiny homes, RV, motorhome, etc...

This school bus conversion has my interest. But I have a hurdle....

I stand 6'4".......I researched and found out a few buses that will fit me comfortable.

second option "Raise the roof"

So, i'm glad to be here and I'm off to research more......:Thanx:

Most 2000+ Internationals have standard a high headroom roof (78" clearance). Even with a planned 2.5" flooring scheme, I'm 6' and I'll still have a couple of inches of clearance to the new ceiling. The other manufactures have it optional (BB and Thomas guys chime in if I'm incorrect)

NOT a dog nose --- it's a CONVENTIONAL!

Are we really going to see this every time someone calls their bus something other than what you think is proper? If you have spent any time at all reading this site you know what he's talking about.
Perhaps we should go into grammer, spelling and punctuation.

Really??

We have better things to worry about!

I will accept an apologies from both of you..... lol

Hello U_B. I just joined. Taking delivery of 1997 Blue Bird All American FE next Saturday. I'm in Winter Haven. Maybe we can help each other out. I promise not to criticize spelling or terminology. ;-).

I intend to raise roof, despite being 5'-4", for better livability and to allow for stacked functions in some planned built-ins. (I'm building with extended stay in mind, not just weekending.)

Buzzard

OFF subject but. im in ft meade. i have a waste tank for free if you want to come get it. it came out of a camper. i ended up using waste tank out of a ford motor home.

Wow, that sounds great. I'm driving past you probably Saturday morning (maybe Friday) to pick up the bus, but you're close enough I could come by at a time of your convenience. That's very kind of you.

fnelson71 ... I tried to send you a private my contact info. Apparently new members are barred from sending PM's for a period of time. I'll bet if you send me a blank one it will allow me to reply.
